Requirements
What the storefront, the Companion plugin and your WordPress site need — and the plugin versions payments are verified against.
The storefront and the Companion plugin have deliberately few hard requirements. Most integrations are optional and switch on automatically when the plugin they rely on is present.
Storefront

WordPress site

| WooCommerce | Required. Embedded payments are verified on WooCommerce 11.1.x. Brand features use WooCommerce’s built-in Brands taxonomy (9.6 or newer). |
| WordPress | Any current release. 6.9 or newer only for the AI assistant (MCP) tools. |
| Permalinks | Anything except Plain (for example Post name). |
| HTTPS | Required for Facebook Login and the MCP connection; always use it in production. |

To add RSC_JWT_SECRET (required) and RSC_STOREFRONT_SHARED_SECRET (recommended). |
| Cron | A real system cron hitting wp-cron.php is recommended so back-in-stock emails go out promptly. |
